The Accounting Taxation 1 course, from to the seventh level of the Accounting Sciences Faculty, contains tax concepts applied to career, linked to both citizens and the business world. Regarding the evaluation system, it involves both individual and collaborative evaluations, which include tax orientation towards the citizen, an innovative ingredient to the course, and promotes tax awareness with a focus on University Social Responsibility. This paper shows an experience where students, formed in work teams, conducted tax orientation to individuals and small businesses in the PUCP community. In the first semester of 2022, the queries and answers were performed under a virtual environment, using the social networks of «Fomentando conciencia tributaria – FCT» (the faculty student group) for the capture of queries. Google tools and the Zoom platform were used for coordination meetings between the teams, the teacher and FCT members. On the second semester of 2022, with the return to the classrooms at PUCP, requests and answers were held directly in personal way at an internal event on campus organized by the Federation of Students of the PUCP (FEPUCP), called «Feria del pollito» (Chick Fair), whose exhibitors were small businesspeople from the PUCP community.

The objective of this article is to reflect on the challenges of developing digital information competence that face university professors in Peru in the recent context, marked by education in post-pandemic times and the popularization of the use of conversational artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT. This interest arises from the importance of defining and locating this concept within the digital competences that university teachers must develop, especially the one necessary to promote the improvement of the search, selection, evaluation, and storage of information that facilitates disciplinary teaching and learning in the described context. In this sense, some challenges that must be discussed, developed, and investigated within the university academic community are defined, based on a bibliographic review of these concepts in this new context.

The present article investigates the effect of the "Profe Plus" application on the development of generic competencies in undergraduate students. The methodology included activities in each class, divided into two stages. In the first stage, students individually responded to a question related to the class topic presented by the instructor. In the second stage, they gathered with their peers to confirm or change their answers. The results from both stages were sent through the "Profe Plus" app using mobile devices. The study was conducted with a sample of 75 students, and data was collected through initial and final surveys after seven classes. The results, obtained from ad-hoc surveys, showed a positive impact of the "Profe Plus" application on the development of students’ generic competencies. However, significant differences were found in some competencies. Throughout the study, it was observed that the application provided an interactive environment for the development of skills such as problem-solving, group collaboration, and making informed decisions.

Students specializing in Industrial Engineering, taking lean manufacturing, learn to design and manage a production system in such a way that it maximizes value generation through the application of philosophy, methods and tools. In order for students to understand and practice the knowledge acquired in the course, the course uses Synchro Game, a simulation of a pneumatic cylinder assembly line, in which students, organized in teams, participate, manage, and make decisions to improve the performance of the manufacturing cell they comprise. The results in the teaching-learning process have been remarkable: the teams managed to increase production capacity by 327%, improved the economic flow of the process by 465%, and valued the contribution of simulations to their learning and skills development at 96%.

Literature as an artistic phenomenon is a proposal to create meaning and negotiate aesthetic values within a community. When this interaction occurs in the university environment, building up meaning is part of the academic discursive practices. Becoming familiar with these practices and successfully reproducing them requires specialized training. This article is based on the theory of critical reading, and presents a systematic and functional methodology to strategically read short narrative literary texts in an early-year college literature class. This competency-based approach privileges the collective construction of meaning and gives the student an active role in their learning. Therefore, it trains individuals capable of reading critically and appreciating an artistic product. We include a guide to commenting on short stories and a methodology for class discussion.

This teaching experience allows us to recognize the importance of using instructional design to achieve learning experiences that ensure a better achievement of the skills expected in an engineering course through planned work in the efficient use of time and space (synchronous and asynchronous), and the accompaniment of student groups that facilitates the resolution of complex problems.
