Rethinking the theoretical map of the political economy of communication and culture is a pressing task in times where technological changes make visible new ways of understanding cultural consumption, inequality and the significant appropriation of contents. It is not only about information and knowledge technologies, or social media and streaming musical and audiovisual content. The approach and objective of mapping Political Economy, is to include new theoretical frontiers to think new challenges and methodological dimensions that put consumers at the center not only as a buyer or identities imitator, but as an enabler of differences crossed by technology, pollution and excessive consumption in a context of global economies. This contributes to expanding the discussion about the space-time relationship of emerging political, social and cultural processes in the public space.

Phenomenology systematically clarifies the structures and processes that make possible different experiences of communication based on pre linguistic foundation. This article explores this perspective and argues that it allows a deeper comprehension of experiences of personal and social reintegration through the interaction with animals of inmates and children with autism. Also, this article follows the thesis of David Abram: that the re discovery of the amplitude od the communicational possibilities in the human beings opens up alternatives of solution to the cultural discomforts that are growing deep in contemporary urban cultures of the world.

The present article is an approximation to the first stage of the development of the Peruvian posters of the late fifties and sixties. The text is questioned on the two dimensions with which these first posters are born: communication and art, and also on the attempt to match precisely its esthetic dimension with its informative and commercial function. The text also identifies many of the first exponents, renowned graphic artists, who found in the design of posters, covers and commercial logos a space not only to develop their artistic practice but also a source of habitual income. Precisely, the article question those two dimensions —which do not seem to be faced in the beginning— and which agree favorably in the development of advertising graphics and also of Peruvian art. Finally, the article asks about the function of the poster and poses the hypotheses about what makes a poster transcend its informative function and make it remain in time as an object of collectible art, as happened with some of these first Peruvian posters.

Fondo Editorial, 2020-12-12) Taricco, Lucrecia; Paz García, A. Pamela
In everyday life context, inscribed in the cultural battlefield of the material and symbolic (hyper)mediations of the Internet, we are interested in critically reflecting on the approach to cultural practices of digital consumption. Inside the political communication field, we observe that today multiple phenomena are embedded in the daily configuration of these practices, which lead us to rethink the role of traditional audience measurements and statistics, to the use of big data and algorithms, different political-cultural outlooks of audiences, challenged by a global crisis in the subject of cybersecurity. Among other conditions of going digital, we will thus understand such contemporary consumption as an issue concerning political power, taking into account its ideological dimension.
