El IDEHPUCP y el Equipo Peruano de Antropología Forense (EPAF) organizaron el «Encuentro de
actores sociales para el fortalecimiento de la búsqueda de personas desaparecidas en el Perú», con el
objetivo de recoger las demandas de los familiares de víctimas y elaborar propuestas concretas para el
proceso de búsqueda, a partir del diálogo. El Encuentro, realizado el 28 de enero de 2019, convocó a líderes
y lideresas de organizaciones de víctimas, representantes de ONG de Derechos Humanos que trabajan el
tema y funcionarios públicos. Asimismo, se contó con la participación de familiares de víctimas de
desaparición forzada de las regiones de Ayacucho, Huancavelica, Junín, Huánuco y Lima. En el Encuentro,
los familiares compartieron sus expectativas en torno a la implementación de la política pública y al
seguimiento a las recomendaciones del Comité de la ONU.
