(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Fondo Editorial, 2018-09-25) Bergamino Varillas, Juan Pablo
Employment is a way of economic and social development, it leads people to improve their quality of life and increase their sense of belonging, as it allows them to generate a productive contribution to society. For people with disabilities, the access to employment is usually limited because of the educational, economic and cultural barriers that prevent the participation of this group in working life; however, they have different types of skills to perform productive tasks that ensure they can maintain a stable and long term employment. It is important to know what these skills are and how they influence the employability of this group. Also, it is responsibility of the society to generate spaces for the development of this group that the government and the market have left aside.

This article analyses the importance of properly structuring the process of the newproducts development (NPD). It identifies some failures in the NPD process in thePeruvian beverage industry based on an exploratory study of multiple cases of newproducts that failed to be launched on the market. A qualitative methodology was used to understand the NPD process, taking as a reference the stage-gate model since it’s one of the most sophisticated and disseminated innovation models in current practice. The study founded that the companies analysed made serious mistakes in their NPD processes, such as not listening to the consumer’s voice since the beginning of the process and not conducting pilot market tests, among others.

Gestión de la cadena de suministro de un programa del Estado: metodologías que se adaptan para su optimización
(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Fondo Editorial, 2018-09-21) Tremolada Tovar, Veralina
The article aims to describe how methodologies generally used in the private sector can be applied to optimize state programs, and more specifically, school feeding programs (PAE, according to its initials in Spanish). Therefore, to achieve its objectives and, above all, to generate value, both for the users of the programs and for Peruvian society, it is essential that the management of the PAE is developed efficiently. To contribute to this task, the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) and Stakeholder Analysis of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) are presented from a theoretical application approach, and both methodologies can be adapted or applied directly according to the specificities of the organization.
