The general objective of this investigation was to determine the relationship that exists between the teleworking and the productivity of workers in support activities (administrative) of the Chinalco Mining company during the year 2021. Through this study and investigation, it was identified that teleworking has a direct relationship to the application of information and communication technology (ICT) and includes paid work from home, a random satellite office, a teleworking center or any other possible workstation outside of the main office of the company. Regarding productivity, it refers to the result of the influence of several factors that affect the behavior of personnel in a company. The research methodology was of the descriptive, correlational type, at the same time, focusing in a quantitative, non-experimental way of a cross-sectional nature, because the data collection occurred only in the context of the support workers (administrative) of the Chinalco Mining company in a situation of telecommuting. The population was composed of 500 employees and the calculated sample was 218 teleworkers who were surveyed using an instrument composed of a total quantity of 25 items for each variable: teleworking and productivity. The obtained results were deeply analyzed and showed that telecommuting has a positive and direct impact and connection with productivity; also, modeling was carried out to develop the evaluation of the reliability and validation of the measurement model in order to estimate the parameters of the structural model. As a final outcome of this research work, it is concluded that there was a positive, direct and strong connection and relationship between both previous variables.
