Resumen
La presente investigación, de enfoque cuantitativo, tiene como objetivo analizar los diferentes
factores claves de éxito que influyen en el rendimiento de la excelencia operacional. En el
presente trabajo de investigación se presenta y discute los hallazgos de la fase cuantitativa,
para comprender el nivel influencia de los factores: (a) cultura organizacional, (b) recursos
humanos, (c) gestión de procesos, (d) liderazgo, (e) sostenibilidad y (f) transformación digital
con respecto al rendimiento de la excelencia operacional en las empresas medianas y grandes
del sector manufactura ubicadas en Perú, para ello se realizó un cuestionario que se
proporcionó a todas las empresas medianas y grandes del sector manufactura posicionadas en
el ranking top 10 000 de las empresas con mayores ingresos en el año 2021, donde la
participación fue voluntaria.
Se llegó a determinar que para las empresas ubicadas en Perú medianas y grandes del sector
manufactura con mayores ingresos en el año 2021 los factores de liderazgo, gestión de
procesos y sostenibilidad impactan directamente en el rendimiento de la excelencia operativa;
por lo contrario, los factores de transformación digital, recursos humanos y cultura
organizacional son los que menos impactan o influyen en el rendimiento de la excelencia
operacional.
The present research, with a quantitative approach, aims to analyse the different key success factors that influence operational excellence performance. This research paper presents and discusses the findings of the quantitative phase, to understand the level of influence of the factors: (a) organisational culture, (b) human resources, (c) process management, (d) leadership, (e) sustainability and (f) digital transformation concerning operational excellence performance in medium and large companies in the manufacturing sector located in Peru, for this purpose a questionnaire was conducted and provided to all medium and large companies in the manufacturing sector positioned in the top 10 000 ranking of companies with the highest revenues in the year 2021, where participation was voluntary. It was determined that for the medium and large companies located in Peru in the manufacturing sector with the highest revenues in 2021, the factors of leadership, process management and sustainability have a direct impact on the performance of operational excellence; in contrast, the factors of digital transformation, human resources and organisational culture have the most negligible impact or influence on the performance of operational excellence.
