¿Oasis o espejismo? : la travesía en el desierto de la teoría de las relaciones internacionales en el análisis de los procesos de integración

En el presente artículo partimos de la premisa de que la Teoría de las Relaciones Internacionales ha encontrado durante mucho tiempo -principalmente por el predominio de visiones «estatocéntricas» que consideran al Estado como único actor relevante-grandes dificultades para ofrecer un marco adecuado para el análisis de los procesos de integración. Nuestro principal objetivo es mostrar las graves limitaciones de las teorías clásicas de corte estatocéntrico para su estudio y, posteriormente, referimos a los cambios que ha sufrido la teoría de las relaciones internacionales en los últimos 15 años y ver cómo han influido en la disciplina en lo relativo al análisis de los procesos de integración.
