Abstract

Este proyecto busca estimular los vínculos de comunidades asentadas alrededor del canal de Surco, un río de riego de origen prehispánico, para lo cual reflexiona sobre las relaciones entre estas y los flujos de agua de nuestra ciudad. Así, la autora se sirve de estrategias participativas para indagar en las nociones de identidad e integración con este canal, cuyo proceso es testimoniado en un video documental, cartografías colectivas y video-animaciones a partir de memorias y dibujos elaborados por la comunidad. A través de estas manifestaciones se pone en diálogo las conexiones y vivencias del tejido social que vincula a vecinas y vecinos desde la sensibilidad estética y artística.This project seeks to stimulate the ties of communities settled around the Surco canal, an irrigation river of pre-hispanic origin, for which it reflects on the relationships between these and the water flows of our city. Thus, the author uses participatory strategies to investigate the notions of identity and integration with this channel, the process of which is witnessed in a documentary video, collective cartographies and video animations based on memories and drawings made by the community. Through these manifestations, she puts into dialogue the connections and experiences of the social fabric that links neighbors from an aesthetic and artistic sensibility.
