Abstract
Reinstated literature as the most appropriate way to register differences in order to sympathize with the Other, the A. acknowledges its philosophical value specially from the viewpoint of pluralism. At the same time, he drifts away from some rival theories, such as Habermas’ conception engaged with the gap between philosophy and literature, and Derrida’s, whereby philosophy is assimilated to literature.
