En el presente artículo, el autor discute la idea del consumidor racional, basándose en los recientes avances en el campo del Neuromarketing. Afirma que los consumidores se ven influenciados por una serie de externalidades, internas y externas, que generan decisiones diversas según el contexto. Esto debe ser tomado en cuenta por los órganos reguladores y por los mismos productores para poder ser eficiente al definir qué información debe ser difundida.
