      This article aims to analyze the strategies and policies applicable to a group of professional millennials and how they represent a challenge for organizations. The millennial Generation has requirements and expectations of their work centers that may be different from those currently offered. It is for this reason that the human resources areas must knowabout these expectations in order to achieve efficient retention of talent. The challenges and changes that will be demanded by the members of each generation in the future oblige us to rethink these issues, making necessary to promote strategies and policies that make the collaborators feel identified and loyal to the organization. In this context, the knowledge of the characteristics of the personnel is essential, so the identification of the generational groups that compose them is key to be able to formulate an adequate retention plan for each organization because, according to the generational theory, each generational group has different expectations and characteristics.

      Contraste de un modelo de gestión del conocimiento en una universidad pública del centro de México

      Often, knowledge-generating organizations have been studied from the influence of their culture, structure and flexible and innovative processes, or from the influence of their leadership and the continuous training of their talents. In the present work, a higher education institution was well researched from the topics established in the specialized literature from 2010 to 2018, the discourses of key informants and the reliability as well as the validity of an instrument that measured its underlying factors. For this purpose, three investigations were carried out: One documentary, another qualitative and another correlational in order to specify a model for the study of the phenomenon in question. The results show a prevalence of knowledge generation as a second order construct and a representation of its dimensions around the categories of «alliances», «networks» and «climates», as well as a factorial structure around the motivation, innovation and communication of opportunities based on resources and capabilities. Lines concerning empathy, commitment and satisfaction are seen as factors that would increase the percentage of the total variance explained, which was 54%.

      Fintech is a type of startup with a disruptive business model that provides digital financial services. One of its main competitive advantages is that they continually innovate, which is why the management of the resulting innovation relevant to them. In Peru, although the fintech ecosystem is growing, there are no empirical studies dealing with innovation in fintech. This article contributes to the knowledge of fintech and analyzes the management of its innovation processes by identifying key enablers and practices of the process. For this, a multiple case study of six fintech winners of the Startup Peru contest was carried out. The findings we have, due to the iterative and agile nature of fintech startups, some do not have a process of systematized innovation; however, there are key enablers and practices for managing the innovation process that allowthem to successfully launch new services to the market.

      Análisis del valor y su influencia en el rediseño y la sustitución de componentes en las mypes del sector textil de confecciones en la región Arequipa

      The value analysis, redesign and replacement of components are key activities in the performance of microenterprises in the Arequipa textile sector; however, in practice,they are not carried out in a systemic way, taking place with delays in execution time and deficiencies in the communication channels, motivation and creativity, amongothers, which means that they are not used properly (Chen Su, 2017; Aminoroaya Yamini, 2016). A preliminary step to redesign and/or replace components is the analysis of value, according to the proposal of Meeker and McWilliams (2011); that way, if textile entrepreneurs apply it according to what the value analysis approach raises, the business competitiveness of the sector could be improved. The purpose of this research is to demonstrate the influence that value analysis has on the use of redesign and component replacement techniques, widely utilized to the productive work of this type of companies. Regarding the methodology that was applied, it should be mentioned that a sampling was carried out for convenience using Likert scale measurement questionnaire to 157 microentrepreneurs in the Arequipa region, and that a reliability level of 0.83 was obtained. The study determined a high level of use of these techniques above 63% in the analysis of the value, while the redesign and replacement of components registered an average use of 52.90%. Additionally, an influence of the value analysis on the redesign and replacement of components was identified, in both cases with high results found through the system of structural equations (SEM); and it was also determined that there is no mediation of the redesign or replacement of components in turn.

      The informal economy and its impact on tax revenues and economic growth. The case of Peru, Latin America and OECD countries (1995 – 2016)

      The main goal of the research will be to determine the size of the informal economy in Peru, Latin America and OCDE countries as well as to estimate the impact of the informal economy on tax revenues and the economic growth. To achieve the goal, the approach is made through MIMIC (multiple-indicator and multiple-cause) model. The main results show that the estimated average size of the informal economy as a percentage of the GDP in Peru is 37.4%, in Latin America is 34%, and in OCDE countries is 19.83%, which represents less than half of the Latin America average.

      The social economy is a result of the needs of equity, employment and affordable financing to both workers and organizations, mainly micro, small and medium-sizeenterprises (MSMEs). This referenced theoretical and transversal study analyzes the impact of the social economy and its different strategies. In adittion, the study showstheir influence in the global socioeconomic development, as well as its contribution enhancing a sustainable transformation; however, it is necessary to comply with legalaspects, transparency, unification of concepts and leadership that helps to consolidate the social economy system. Thus, in this study, collective mutual funds are proposedas a supporting alternative for the enterprise socioeconomic development and competitiveness.
