Abstract
El trabajo examina la gestión procesal realizada por el juez, la cual encuentra su antecedente en el modelo del case management. Se realiza un estudio comparativo de su aplicación con los sistemas de los Estados Unidos de América e Inglaterra, así como un análisis de su introducción y aplicación en el marco del proceso civil portugués.
The essay examines the procedural management exercised by the judge, which has its antecedent in case management model. It is developed a comparative study of its application with the United States and England legal systems, as well as an analysis of its introduction and application in the frame of Portuguese civil procedure.
