Along the paper, the processes of assessment, observation and feedback in the institution are described in a critical manner; comparing and contrasting it with different sources of information and authors. This paper seeks to demonstrate that observation is a key element within teacher’s assessment and that the corresponding feedback allows teachers to recognize their weaknesses and their strengths. Information regarding positive teachers’ perception of observation and assessment, as well as some recommendations are also included. The document also includes real teacher’s cases that allow the author to support the statement that observation, and a followup process may lead to teacher’s improvement in different areas of the teaching process.
