La glosa como una hipótesis: apuntes metodológicos para el estudio de la LSP

Abstract

La LSP es una lengua de señas originaria de Perú que recientemente comenzó a ser estudiada, por lo que la discusión alrededor de ella es poca y todavía insuficiente. Dentro de los distintos aspectos de la investigación de la LSP, como de otras lenguas de señas, la operación de anotación de las señas (manuales y no manuales) en un sistema que permita analizar las señas, es un aspecto fundamental que tiene consecuencias directas sobre la investigación, dado que la anotación, como un etiquetado, significa la realización de ciertas elecciones sobre la comprensión de los datos. Explicamos el uso de glosas para la representación y estudio de la LSP, revisamos algunos casos para compartir algunos criterios y finalmente brindamos algunas recomendaciones para realizarlo.LSP is an originary sign language from Peru that recently started to be studied, and that is why the discussion around it is little and still insufficient. Among the different aspects of the investigation of the LSP, as the one of other sign language, the operation of annotation of (manual and not manual) signs in a system that makes it possible to analyze the signs, is a fundamental aspect with direct consequences on the investigation, as the annotation requires to make some choices on the comprehension and representations of the data. We explain the use of glosses for the representation and study of LSP, we review some cases to share some criteria and we give some recommendations for it.
