This paper shows a sustainable business solution aimed at meeting the mobility needs of people with physical and motor disabilities, specifically those who have reduced mobility in the lower extremities. In addition, it presents a sustainable business proposal in which a relevant social problem (PSR) is addressed at the national level within the framework of the characteristics of a circular and innovative economy. The project consists of an adaptation to integrate a wheelchair to an electric scooter, resulting in a simple and autonomous transport unit for people with motor disabilities in the lower limbs to expand their social and economic participation. Currently, due to mobility difficulties in their lower limbs, these people cannot take a mass public transport vehicle or a taxi. Therefore, the proposal is not only economical, but sustainable and easy to implement. It starts from a concrete need and a public or social problem, and is supported by a prototype and a marketing plan; that is, it has the elements that guarantee safety and comfort in the movement of people with disabilities. It is considered that the proposal is viable, feasible and practical, in addition to guaranteeing sustainability and care for the environment. In addition, it implies the adaptation of a scooter to a wheelchair of good power to grant autonomy in the personal movement of people with disabilities; without failing to indicate that it is a foldable, transportable, renewable and eco- friendly device that was called SillaPlus. The economic net present value (NPV), the internal rate of return (IRR) and the social NPV were S/3’866,927, 90,01% and S/269’402,935, respectively. This supports that the business proposal is sustainable and directly affects some specific goals of the Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 8-Decent work and economic growth, SDG 9-Industry, innovation and infrastructure, SDG 10-Reduction of inequalities and SDG 11-Sustainable cities and communities.
