Planeamiento estratégico para el sector floricultor de Colombia

Resumen
El sector floricultor colombiano es de los más relevantes para la economía
nacional y si bien actualmente genera importantes impactos a nivel macroeconómico,
no debe perderse de vista que hay muchas oportunidades que bien aprovechadas
llevan a potencializarlo y, por sobre todo, tener mayor relieve en el contexto
económico de Colombia. Por lo anterior, con la idea de hacer propuestas que lo
beneficien a él y, por ende, a la economía del país, se presenta este trabajo cuya
principal pretensión es la de hacer un análisis para así presentar una formulación
estratégica que permita alcanzar la visión fijada para el año 2022.
En línea con lo anterior, este documento hace la formulación estratégica del
sector de flores en Colombia, indica la forma de implementar las estrategias retenidas
y, por último, se presenta el tablero de control balanceado (BSC) que permitirá
evaluar y controlar los objetivos a corto plazo definidos, todos ellos en las
dimensiones de aprendizaje interno, procesos, clientes y finanzas. Se reconoce el alto
valor que tiene el control de la estrategia para alcanzar el éxito de la misma y la visión
trazada.
De otro lado, no sobra advertir que el sector floricultor de Colombia tiene un
alto componente social y ambiental, así que todas las estrategias formuladas así como
los conceptos aquí presentados, consultan los conceptos de sostenibilidad y desarrollo
sostenible, teniendo claro que sin ellos difícilmente se logra llevar a cabo una
actividad productiva como es la que este trabajo aborda.
Corolario de todo lo anterior se concluye en este documento que
efectivamente existen múltiples oportunidades para este sector si es que se
implementa el plan estratégico esbozado, oportunidades todas enmarcadas en el
concepto de competitividad y de mayor eficiencia en la utilización de los recursos,
siempre proyectándose a futuro como un sector no sólo de gran impacto económico
sino de alto nivel estratégico.

This will be done through the frame of four perspectives: Internal process, Learning and growth, Customer and Financial. It is recognized that formulating the strategy as well as controlling its evolution is important in order to successfully achieve the desired result. On the other hand it has to be said that the flower industry in Colombia has a high social and environmental component. Therefore the strategies developed and the concepts presented in this paper, includes issues regarding sustainability. This is necessary because otherwise it would be very difficult to achieve the vision proposed. Given the above, it can be concluded that the sector will face a vast range of opportunities based on the implementation of this strategy, which will impact both competiveness and efficiency.
