Resumen
El sector asegurador, en la actualidad, está sufriendo un gran cambio. En los últimos
10 años, las ventas han crecido en casi 200%, llegando a obtener ganancias por más de
S/. 10,000,000 millones. Las empresas, tanto aseguradoras como intermediarios de seguros,
están buscando brindar cada día mejores servicios con calidad, pues el objetivo es tener una
permanente satisfacción de los asegurados para llegar a más peruanos y así poder cambiar la
poca cultura de seguro en el Perú. Asimismo, la actividad del sector asegurador demuestra
una gran capacidad para generar un desarrollo sostenido en el país; es por eso que todos los
actores deben estar involucrados y sentir la necesidad de cambio para conseguir que el
mercado crezca con calidad.
La calidad en el Perú está tomando cada día mayor impulso en los distintos sectores.
Es por este motivo que el presente trabajo tiene por finalidad conocer más a fondo la realidad
del sector asegurador en Lima, Perú. Si bien es cierto el crecimiento ha sido de manera
exponencial, los resultados de la investigación muestran que solo el 17% de las empresas
encuestadas cuenta con un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad (SGC). Este estudio se realizó a
una muestra de 53 empresas del sector, de una población de 227 debidamente registradas al
31 de diciembre del 2014. Finalmente, se presentarán los puntos fuertes y débiles que las
empresas deben mejorar para generar la mayor satisfacción en sus clientes y que estos se
vuelvan fieles a la compra de sus servicios.
The insurance sector is currently undergoing a major change in the last ten years, sales have grown by almost 200% to a profit for more than S/. 10,000,000 million soles, as well as insurance companies as intermediaries insurance are seeking to provide better services every day quality always looking for permanent satisfaction of policyholders and looking to reach more Peruvians and so little to change the culture of insurance we have in Peru. The activity of the insurance industry demonstrates a great capacity to generate sustained development in the country that is why all stakeholders must be involved and feel the need for change which allows the market to grow with quality. Quality in Peru are taking every day momentum in the different sectors, it is for this reason that the following study seeks to know more about the reality of the insurance sector in Lima, Peru. While it is true growth has been exponentially this research was conducted on a sample of 53 companies in a population of 227 duly registered to December 31, 2014 industry, the results show that only 17% of the companies surveyed sample with a Quality Management System and the strong and weak points are presented that companies must improve to generate the greatest customer satisfaction and faithful to the purchase of their services become.
