La historia del Instituto Riva-Agüero (IRA)

Abstract

Descripción del origen y evolución del Instituto Riva-Agüero, una de las principales unidades académicas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). A lo largo de 70 años, el IRA ha formado docentes e investigadores en las humanidades, a través de sus seminarios, grupos de investigación, conferencias y publicaciones. En esta nota se detalla su desarrollo institucional y académico, y se destaca su contribución al prestigio humanístico de la PUCP.Description of the creation and evolution of the Instituto Riva-Agüero (IRA), one of the main academic units of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). For 70 years, the IRA has trained professors and researchers in the humanities, based on seminars, research groups, conferences and publications. This brief review details its institutional and academic development, and highligths its contribution to the humanistic prestige of the PUCP.
