Modelo Prolab: E-Doctor, una propuesta que facilitará la atención médica oportuna de las urgencias en la selva peruana

Abstract
Al mejorar el diagnóstico de emergencias, el objetivo es reducir el 35% de demora en la
atención urgente. Esto se debe a la falta de médicos suficientes en el 52% de los centros de
atención primaria del Ministerio de Salud y los gobiernos regionales, y el 98% carece de
infraestructura y equipamiento adecuados para la atención (Aguirre Martens, 2023).
El grupo de usuarios proviene de la zona de Loreto en Perú, residen en Iquitos y tienen
entre 25 y 65 años. Para identificar el perfil del usuario, se realizaron 21 entrevistas con padres y
madres que tienen entre dos y cuatro hijos y muestran preocupación por la salud tanto propia
como de su familia. Es importante abordar el problema de la falta de personal médico en el
sistema de salud, ya que no solo afecta la calidad de la atención médica en Perú, sino que
también pone en peligro la vida de miles de ciudadanos. Esta escasez de médicos es aún más
notable en las regiones rurales y remotas del país, lo que obliga a los médicos generales a
desempeñar un papel crucial en la prestación de servicios de salud (Ibañez, 2023). Para aumentar
las posibilidades de diagnóstico oportuno y salvar vidas, es fundamental mejorar la
infraestructura de salud, que incluye capacitación de profesionales y acceso a tecnologías.
La propuesta fue creada utilizando la metodología de pensamiento de diseño, lo que
permitió crear una variedad de soluciones innovadoras centradas en el usuario. Se tomaron
medidas para identificar las principales dificultades que enfrentan los pacientes y sus familiares
en Loreto, con el fin de realizar un diagnóstico y monitorear el tratamiento en la selva.
El objetivo del proyecto de telemedicina con ecografía monitoreada a larga distancia en
Iquitos, Perú, es proporcionar acceso remoto a expertos mediante el uso de tecnología avanzada
y alta velocidad de internet. Esto permitirá un seguimiento remoto y una mejor detección y
tratamiento temprano de situaciones urgentes, lo que mejorará la calidad de vida y reducirá la morbilidad y mortalidad de los pacientes en áreas con recursos médicos limitados. En Iquitos,
Perú, se ofrecen cabinas de telemedicina con monitoreo de ecografía a larga distancia a través de
internet satelital para los pacientes de urgencias. Este es el modelo de negocio del negocio.
El costo de oportunidad de capital (WACC) del proyecto es del 16.29% y el TIRE es del
318.12%, lo que indica que el proyecto es viable y se acepta la propuesta. El costo de capital
propio de E-DOCTOR es del 29,15% representado como Ke, mientras que el costo de deuda, o
Kd Soles, es del 9,00%. La Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) es alta 318.12%, El tiempo estimado
para recuperar la inversión, también conocido como reembolso, es de 0.347 años. Además, se
obtuvo un VAN Económico de S/4,755,047.00 y un VAN Financiero de S/ 3,359,975.00, lo que
indica que el proyecto es aceptable porque ambos valores son superiores a cero.
Al fomentar la mejora de la salud y el bienestar, fomentar el desarrollo de infraestructura
e innovación y facilitar la formación de alianzas estratégicas, el proyecto contribuye al
cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la ONU. El valor de mercado social
de E-DOCTOR es de S/21,900,714.12, 7.36 veces superior al valor de mercado económico, lo
que indica un impacto social positivo significativo además de sus beneficios económicos.
By improving emergency diagnostics, the goal is to reduce the 35% delay in urgent care. This delay is due to the lack of sufficient doctors in 52% of the primary care centers managed by the Ministry of Health and regional governments, and 98% lack adequate infrastructure and equipment for care (Aguirre Martens, 2023). To increase the chances of timely diagnosis and save lives, it is essential to improve health infrastructure, which includes training professionals and providing access to technology. The proposal was created using the design thinking methodology, which allowed for the creation of a variety of innovative user-centered solutions. Measures were taken to identify the main difficulties faced by patients and their families in Loreto, to perform diagnostics and monitor treatment in the jungle. The objective of the telemedicine project with long-distance monitored ultrasound in Iquitos, Peru, is to provide remote access to experts through the use of advanced technology and high-speed internet. This will allow for remote monitoring and better early detection and treatment of urgent situations, improving quality of life and reducing morbidity and mortality for patients in areas with limited medical resources. In Iquitos, Peru, telemedicine booths with long- distance ultrasound monitoring via satellite internet are offered for emergency patients. This is the business model. The project's Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) is 16.29% and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 318.12%, indicating that the project is viable and the proposal is accepted.
