La implementación de las políticas públicas adoptadas por el Estado peruano frente al impacto del COVID-19 en la violencia contra las mujeres e intrafamiliar

Abstract

In this article, the authors analyze the response of the Peruvian State through the implementation of public policies with the aim of counteracting violence against women and members of the family group, triggered by the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Initially, the authors study the measures taken immediately by the Peruvian State during the start of the pandemic and place them in the Latin American context through a comparative perspective. Secondly, these measures are analyzed in detail in order to evaluate the limits and success in the effective implementation of said policies during the first year of the pandemic.

En el presente artículo, las autoras analizan la respuesta del Estado peruano a través de la implementación de diversas políticas públicas con el objetivo de contrarrestar la violencia contra las mujeres e integrantes del grupo familiar fortalecida y desencadenada por el contexto de la pandemia del COVID-19.  Primero, las autoras estudian las medidas tomadas de manera inmediata por el Estado peruano durante el inicio de la pandemia y las sitúan en el contexto latinoamericano mediante una perspectiva comparada. En un segundo momento, tales medidas se analizan con el fin de hacer un balance entre los límites y logros en su implementación efectiva durante el primer año de la pandemia.
