Abstract
El presente trabajo consiste en la aplicación del Planeamiento Estratégico como
modelo de análisis de la situación actual de la región Madre de Dios teniendo como premisas
iniciales la misión, visión y el código de ética del mismo para de esta forma, luego del
respectivo análisis interno y externo, se pueda tener una interpretación de las condiciones
integrales actuales para que en función a ello y al entorno en el que se encuentra, se diseñen
objetivos a largo plazo que permitan construir diferentes estrategias, en complemento con las
políticas previamente fijadas.
Madre de Dios es una región de la Selva que actualmente basa su desarrollo
económico en actividades como la minería, la agroforestería, la silvicultura y el comercio. Sin
embargo, uno de los elementos claves que aún no ha sido explotado en su real dimensión lo
encontramos en el turismo. Frente a este aspecto, la región Madre de Dios tiene un enorme
potencial de desarrollo el cual, debidamente implementado y promocionado, en función al
valor competitivo que radica en el turismo sostenible – o también conocido como el
Ecoturismo –puede generar ingresos determinantes que posicionen la región dentro de la zona
en la que se encuentra cumpliendo de esta forma con su lema: Madre de Dios, capital peruana
de la biodiversidad.
The present work consists in the application of Strategic Planning as a model of analysis of the current situation of the Madre de Dios region having as initial premises the mission, vision and the code of ethics of it, in this way, after the respective internal analysis and external, you can have an interpretation of the current comprehensive conditions so that depending on it and the environment in which it is located, long-term objectives are designed to build different strategies, in addition to the previously set policies. Madre de Dios is a region of the Selva that currently bases its economic development on activities such as mining, agroforestry, forestry and commerce. However, one of the key elements that has not yet been exploited in its real dimension is found in tourism. Faced with this aspect, the Madre de Dios region has an enormous development potential which, duly implemented and promoted, based on the competitive value that lies in sustainable tourism - or also known as Ecotourism - can generate determining income that positions the region within the area in which it is fulfilling in this way with its motto: Madre de Dios, Peruvian capital of biodiversity.
