Resumen
La investigación busca identificar la percepción de la mujer ejecutiva sobre su trabajo,
vida familiar y la interacción trabajo-vida familiar, con la finalidad de obtener información
que pueda ser útil para las empresas y Estado, y que esta información sea referenciada al
momento de elaborar planes relacionados a promover el balance entre el trabajo-vida
familiar. Para ello, se realizó una investigación cualitativa, se entrevistó a 28 mujeres
ejecutivas de Lima, que tienen personal a cargo en una organización y las cuales se
encontraban laborando en seis sectores empresariales: educación, militar, producción, salud,
banca y público.
Los resultados muestran que la percepción de la mujer ejecutiva sobre su trabajo se
inclina a que no existe una óptima gestión, la falta de flexibilidad en los horarios es una
limitante para el desarrollo del balance trabajo-vida familiar, la carga laboral mal
administrada por las jefaturas es otro factor, la falta de promoción del teletrabajo también es
percibida sobre todo en los sectores en los cuales si se puede desarrollar como es la banca,
estas son algunas percepciones negativas, por otro lado la muestra evidenció que algunas
empresas si tienen estrategias para el fomento del balance trabajo-vida familiar pero que
finalmente no se ponen en práctica, sobre el desarrollo profesional se evidenció que la muestra considera que encuentra conflicto entre su vida familiar y su desarrollo profesional por la demanda de tiempo y dedicación, pero esto no es un factor que las limite a desarrollarse. En cuanto a los resultados obtenidos acerca de la percepción de la mujer ejecutiva sobre su vida familiar se evidenció que reciben apoyo de los familiares directos, y que en algunos casos sobre todo en las casadas con hijos comentaron la necesidad de un
apoyo externo. En el análisis transversal se evidenció que la muestra es consciente de la
importancia del balance entre el trabajo-vida familiar, pero que no aprecian el apoyo del
Estado y del sector empresarial
The research aims to identify the perception of female executive on their work, family life and on their work-family life interaction, in order to obtain information that can be useful for businesses and state and that this information be referenced when developing plans related to promoting the balance between work-family life. For this, a qualitative research was conducted were interviewed 28 executive women of Lima, who have staff in charge of an organization and which were working in six business sectors: education, military, production, health, banking and public. The results show that the perception of female executive on their work leans that there is no optimal management, lack of flexibility in scheduling is a limiting factor for the development of work-family life balance , work load mismanaged by headquarters is another factor, the lack of promotion of telework is perceived especially in sectors where if you can develop as it is banking, these are some negative perceptions, on the other hand the sample showed that some companies if they have strategies promoting work-family life balance but ultimately not put into practice. On professional development was evident that the sample considered is conflict between their family life and their professional development by demand of time and dedication, but this is not a factor that limits to develop
