Resumen
La presente investigación elabora el plan estratégico para Petroperú, lo cual significa
una respuesta al estado actual enfrentado por la empresa y que podría mejorarse si logran ser
aprovechadas la infraestructura disponible y la participación en toda la cadena de valor del
rubro emprendida, aunque para lograr que estos asuntos repercutan en el desempeño del
negocio se requiere de un trabajo de varios años. Por lo tanto, resulta decisivo que los
directivos posean desde ahora una propuesta que permita tanto un mayor crecimiento de la
compañía como un mejor aporte al país como resultado de sus operaciones.
En base a las circunstancias expresadas, el presente estudio ha presentado la forma en
que Petroperú, empezando por la definición de una visión, puede enfrentar los desafíos que
existen tanto en el ámbito interno, apoyándose en la identificación de fortalezas y
debilidades, como en el ámbito externo, valiéndose de la detección de oportunidades y
amenazas; para en base a esto definir estrategias relacionadas con objetivos de largo así como
de corto plazo, monitoreándose estos últimos mediante indicadores para determinar las
mejoras conseguidas.
Por último, vale mencionar que las proyecciones de Petroperú deben enfocarse en
alcanzar una mejor posición, tomando como principal fuente de apoyo la integración vertical
iniciada, lo cual se debe realizar con una permanente búsqueda de mejora en cuanto al nivel
de competitividad. Es por este motivo, que cualquier determinación posterior que intente
brindar cambios que resulten de interés para la organización deberá presentarse con la ayuda
del proceso estratégico, lo cual significa que su uso en todas las instancias de la firma debe
transformarse en una cuestión frecuente.
The present investigation elaborates the strategic plan for Petroperú, which means a response to the current state faced by the company and that could be improved if the available infrastructure and the participation in the entire value chain of the item undertaken are managed, although to ensure that These matters have an impact on the performance of the business, a multi-year job is required. Therefore, it is decisive that managers now have a proposal that allows both a greater growth of the company and a better contribution to the country as a result of its operations. Based on the circumstances expressed, the present study has presented the way in which Petroperú, starting with the definition of a vision, can face the challenges that exist both internally, based on the identification of strengths and weaknesses, as in the external scope, using the detection of opportunities and threats; based on this, define strategies related to long as well as short-term objectives, the latter being monitored through indicators to determine the improvements achieved. Finally, it is worth mentioning that Petroperú's projections should focus on reaching a better position, taking as a main source of support the vertical integration initiated, which should be carried out with a permanent search for improvement in terms of the level of competitiveness. It is for this reason that any subsequent determination that attempts to provide changes that are of interest to the organization must be submitted with the help of the strategic process, which means that its use in all instances of the firm must become a frequent issue.
