futuras líneas a seguir.
The objective of this study was to analyze the possible relationship between well-being and religious coping in adult cancer patients in shelters in Metropolitan Lima. For this, a quantitative investigation was designed at a single time and voluntarily through a data sheet and three different tests: Flourishing Scale, Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (Diener et al., 2010) and Brief Measure of Religious Coping (Pargament et al., 1998), in addition to strict ethical standards. The sample was 55 adult cancer patients (36 women and 19 men) whose ages were between 18 and 69 years (M = 37.87, SD = 14.99), the majority being from province, with a higher to secondary education degree and with a maximum number of 10 children (M = 1.96, SD = 2.36). The results found a relation between the dimension of positive religious coping and the positive variables of well-being: positive experience (r = .61, p <.001) and flourishing (r = .31, p <.05). Finally, differences were found in sociodemographic variables such as sex, age, place of origin, degree of education and number of children. These findings are discussed, as well as the limitations of the study and future lines to follow.
