Resumen
Desde hace varios años, los Sistemas de Gestión de Calidad (SGC) han ido ganando la
aceptación de las empresas en el Perú. No obstante, hasta antes de la realización de la
presente tesis, no han existido estudios que permitan relacionar la aplicación de estos
sistemas con la gestión de calidad de las empresas del sector conversión del departamento de
Lima. Siendo las empresas del sector conversión las empresas de extracción, transformación
y reducción; para el presente estudio las empresas consideradas son las mineras, petroleras y
pesqueras.
Para el sector es relevante ampliar el conocimiento de la calidad y conocer su
importancia y ventajas, por ello, el propósito de esta investigación fue identificar si las
empresas del sector conversión del departamento de Lima con SGC presentan un mayor nivel
de calidad en comparación con aquellas que no tienen un SGC. Para este estudio, se
consideró como empresas con SGC a aquellas que posean certificación ISO 9001.
Asimismo, se utilizó como base la metodología que desarrolló Benzaquen (2013).
Esta sirvió para determinar el nivel de cumplimiento de la calidad en nueve factores de éxito.
La investigación dio como resultado que las empresas del sector conversión del departamento
de Lima con un SGC tienen diferencias significativas en los factores de calidad en
comparación con aquellas empresas que no presentan un SGC.
For several years, the Quality Management Systems (QMS) have been gaining acceptance into Peruvians companies. However, even before the accomplished of this thesis , there have not been any studies that relates the implementation of these systems with quality management of businesses in the conversion sector of Lima capital. Being the companies of the converters sector the companies of extraction, transformation and reduction; for the present research study the considered companies are in the mining, petroleum and fishing industry. For the sector is relevant to expand the knowledge of quality and know its important and adventages, for that, the purpose of this research was to identify whether the enterprises in the conversion sector SGC around Lima, have a higher level of quality compared to those without a (QMS). It was considered companies with SGC for the purpose of this study, to those companies who have the ISO 9001 certification. The methodology developed by Mr. Benzaquen (2013) was used as basis for this investigation.This process served to determine the observance of the level of quality through the nine factors of success. The investigation resulted that the companies in the conversion of sector of Lima with a QMS have significant differences in the quality factors compared to those companies that do not have a QMS.
