Abstract
La presente investigación se enfoca en el estudio de estrategias didácticas para
mejorar la compresión auditiva de estudiantes del idioma inglés, y cuya importancia
radica en ser fundamental para el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua. Aunque la
habilidad auditiva es considerada una de las habilidades más difíciles de dominar, es
la que menos atención recibe debido a la postura examinadora que toman los
docentes y la falta de entrenamiento que reciben los alumnos. Es por ello por lo que
este trabajo de investigación se centra en explorar estrategias didácticas efectivas
para mejorar la comprensión auditiva que ayuden al alumno a elegir efectivamente la
mejor estrategia con el fin de desarrollar su competencia de comunicación oral.
This research focuses on the study of didactic strategies to improve the listening comprehension of English language students, and whose importance lies in being fundamental for second language learning. Although listening is considered one of the most difficult skills to master, it receives the least attention due to the examining posture taken by teachers and the lack of training received by students. That is why this research work focuses on exploring effective didactic strategies to improve listening comprehension that help the student to effectively choose the best strategy in order to develop their oral communication competence
