The financial sector, and especially the multiple banking sector in the Cusco region, is relevant because it promotes economic growth in the region and in the country. The importance of banking is increasing and this is manifested through the reduction of the rate of informality, even when a high percentage of the unbanked population persists. The banking sector in the Cusco region has come to occupy the tenth place in the national ranking of settled loans and deposits, ranking second in the macro region of southern Sierra. In the year 2016 presented a high delinquency, an indicator that to date remains high. In this sense, the present strategic plan for the banking sector in the Cusco region has been formulated with the purpose of increasing productivity and helping the region to raise its levels of competitiveness. This will allow you to increase financial income and increase profitability. Therefore, long-term objectives are proposed such as increasing financial income from direct loans to reach S / 3,700 million and reaching 0.50% of ROE in the year 2027. After an exhaustive stage of intuition, strategies are defined, such as: (a) penetrating the corporate sector with a low delinquency rate, granting direct credits; (b) developing new markets, establishing authorized agents in areas with low transaction levels; (c) to strengthen the methods of collecting loans granted to small enterprises, (d) developing e-commerce channels, (e) aggressively penetrate the mortgage loan market, (f) establish alliances with the main private institutions in the region, (g) develop an alert service during the life cycle of credit, among others. During the next few years, an adequate formulation, implementation, evaluation and control must be carried out through the Balanced Control Panel, which will allow to reach the proposed vision and objectives
