This research addresses the ways of understanding the possible psychological effects of the subject immersed in virtual cognition and the artistic production around them. In this way, Psychopathologies in the era of connectivity investigates the subject's relationship with virtual media; this focused from the psychological, physical and social impact of the individual. Thus, it starts from the identification of a self, psychic and somatic, which is influenced by the new media and the language used in these. Given the above, the following research tries to resolve the questions that arise when finding an apparent failure in this human/machine interaction and the growing dissociation with oneself and strangeness with others that arises in the subject. The general question is: How can we adapt to the system that demands effectiveness and speed without neglecting our physical-psychic needs? This research has been proposed seeking to define what makes up the human being and how their unconscious affects, from a Lacanian perspective, their verbal and body language, establishing a psychosomatic connection. From this, the symptoms of communication and technological work that revolve around the subject and that transform it are explored. Likewise, this thesis investigates the relationship between psychological conditions and artistic creation. 4 The framework of this research encompasses the power of current language determined by computer codes and digital operating systems translated into the lives of the subjects, denting the intrapersonal relationship and their external social interaction to these digital systems. The objective of the thesis seeks to reflect, through an artistic proposal, on the incidence of the language of current communication technologies in us. In the same way, try to meditate on what it takes to adapt to the machine and the dynamics around it, leaving aside our emotional needs
