Abstract
The preparation of a Strategic Plan requires a comprehensive analysis of each of the aspects of an organization, there is no more important aspect than another, all must be put on the table to be evaluated and analyzed. In the case of the Strategic Plan of Mota Engil Peru, the Sequential Model of the Strategic Process proposed by Fernando D'Alessio Ipinza in The Strategic Process: A Management Approach has been used as a basis. The strategic plan includes all the analysis of internal and external and based on these analyzes a series of strategies are proposed to achieve the long-term objectives and therefore both, the vision and the mission proposed. Likewise, the steps for the execution of the plan are outlined, as well as the necessary control mechanisms. Mota Engil Peru is a construction company founded 31 years ago, and its part of the Portuguese construction group Mota Engil. Currently MEP is a company recognized for the quality of its products and manages a fairly broad portfolio of projects, most of them being works for the extractive industry such as mining. Although MEP is a prestigious company, it is considered that it is not taking advantage of its potential, it is among the main construction companies in the country but its billing levels are still far from giants like G & M or Cosapi. The strategic plan will provide a series of strategies to better position MEP within the market, proposing the diversification of its offer, developing products and markets in order to increase sales and achieve MEP growth..
