Storytelling is a tool that has existed since the beginning of humanity that allows us to share knowledge and create new ideas. In organizations, the ability to tell stories is used to sustain the image of the companies and guide relationships with stakeholders, which is why it is considered a necessary attribute at the executive level. In this exploratory study, it was proposed to examine the restrictions and perspectives of the visions that the executives and entrepreneurs of Metropolitan Lima have through storytelling, since it is a technique that allows exploring the subjectivity of the author. To do this, a sample of ten executives were instructed to respond in writing to the following: what would you explain to an alien about what humanity is and what its virtues and deficiencies are. The analysis of the perspectives of the interviewees covered the vision of the human condition in terms of its definition, its strengths and its weaknesses. As a result, it was observed that the vision of Lima executives does not include fatalism, but rather the conviction that the course of humanity is defined by the will and decisions that direct it to progress.
