Resumen
El presente plan estratégico para la Provincia de Tocache tiene como finalidad
establecer los objetivos y las estrategias al 2030, otorgándoles una identidad propia y
bienestar a sus habitantes a través del desarrollo del sector agro comercial y turismo; los
cuales deben desarrollarse en armonía con el medio ambiente. En tal sentido se busca darle
un carácter más estratégico al desarrollo de los sectores mencionados líneas arriba, para esto
el plan estratégico se enfoca en los segmentos de mayor potencial, buscando capitalizar sus
fortalezas y aprovechando las oportunidades del mercado mundial.
Al 2030, Tocache tiene como objetivo fortalecer su posición en los mercados de café
y cacao mediante el desarrollo sostenible de los productores; para lo cual las estrategias
tienen como finalidad brindarles soporte comercial y técnico. De la misma manera se tiene
como objetivo desarrollar el potencial turístico de la zona; sus paisajes naturales y reservas
ecológicas permiten desarrollar productos como el ecoturismo, turismo vivencial y turismo de
negocios. Para alcanzar un desarrollo económico auto sostenible y amigable con el medio
ambiente, los sectores deberán respetar los estándares de calidad ambiental dados por el
gobierno central a través del Ministerio del Ambiente.
Asimismo es importante considerar que los habitantes son el eje fundamental para el
desarrollo de la Provincia de Tocache, una de las estrategias propuestas consiste en el
desarrollo de programas educativos que nos permitan obtener mejores prácticas en turismo y
agricultura. Finalmente otro aspecto importante es el desarrollo de la infraestructura vial que
permitirá conectar a los agricultores con la cadena de valor, mejorando su competitividad
The strategic plan for Tocache Province sets objectives and strategies by 2030, granting them their own identity and well-being for their inhabitants through the development of the agro-business and tourism sectors; which must be developed in harmony with the environment. In this way, it seeks to give a more strategic nature to sector´s development mentioned above, for this the strategic plan focuses on the greatest potential segments, seeking to capitalize on their strengths and taking advantage of the opportunities of the global market. By 2030, Tocache aims to strengthen its position in the coffee and cocoa markets through the sustainable development of producers; for which strategies are intended to provide business and technical support. In the same way, the objective is to develop the tourism potential of the area; its natural landscapes and ecological reserves allow development of products such as ecotourism, experiential tourism and business tourism. In order to achieve self-sustainable economic development that is eco-friendly, the sectors must respect the environmental quality standards issued by the central government through the Environment Ministry. Besides that, it is also important to consider that the inhabitants are the fundamental axis for the development of Tocache Province, the strategy proposed is the development of educational programs that allow us to obtain better practices in tourism and agriculture. Finally, another goal is the development of road infrastructure that will connect farmers with the value chain, improving their competitiveness
