Resumen
La presente tesis tiene como finalidad realizar el Planeamiento Estratégico para la
empresa E-Transport Arequipa, para recomendar su implementación en un horizonte de
tiempo de 5 años (2019-2023). Con este trabajo se busca implementar un plan estratégico que
posicionará a la empresa a nivel nacional, con el propósito de incrementar su productividad,
así como contribuir con los stakeholders, y con los sectores de transporte de carga y minería.
E-Transport Arequipa es una empresa peruana con sede en la ciudad de Arequipa; la cual
atiende a las principales mineras del sur del país, brindando el servicio de transporte de carga
de concentrado de cobre; la empresa cuenta con condiciones para lograr crecimiento. Sin
embargo, sus fortalezas y oportunidades no han sido adecuadamente aprovechadas y existen
algunos riesgos por la existencia de debilidades y amenazas no confrontadas.
El plan estratégico diseñado en este documento implementa el modelo secuencial
definido por el Dr. Fernando D´Alessio para establecer los principios cardinales de la
empresa que le permitirá transformar su situación actual hacia su futuro deseado de manera
realista y en el horizonte de tiempo planteado. La visión propuesta, se desarrolla a partir del
establecimiento de cuatro objetivos a largo plazo, los cuales se desarrollarán a través de ocho
estrategias retenidas y cuatro estrategias de contingencia. Estas estrategias permitirán a ETransport
Arequipa, ser la empresa líder de servicios de transporte de carga de concentrado
de cobre a nivel nacional, teniendo como pilares de crecimiento, la rentabilidad, el
cumplimiento de servicio y el capital humano.
Finalmente, con la implementación de este plan estratégico y para garantizar su éxito
se han considerado indicadores en el tablero de control Balanced Scorecard, lo cual permitirá
realizar un seguimiento y control efectivo de los avances de cada objetivo de corto plazo
(OCP), que sumandos permitirán alcanzar los objetivos de largo plazo (OLP) y, por
consiguiente, en un horizonte de tiempo de 5 años, alcanzar la visión deseada
The present thesis aims to carry out the Strategic Planning for the company ETransport Arequipa, to recommend its implementation in a time horizon of 5 years (2019- 2023). With this work we seek to implement a strategic plan that will position the company at a national level; with the purpose of increasing their productivity, as well as contributing with the stakeholders, and with the cargo transport and mining sectors. E-Transport Arequipa is a Peruvian company with headquarters in the city of Arequipa; it currently serves the main mining companies in the south of the country, providing cargo transportation services for copper concentrate; the company has adequate conditions to achieve significant growth. However, its strengths and opportunities have not been adequately exploited and there are some risks due to the existence of weaknesses and threats that have not been addressed. The strategic plan designed in this document implements the sequential model defined by Dr. Fernando D'Alessio to establish the cardinal principles of the company that will allow it to transform its current situation towards its desired future in a realistic manner and in the proposed time horizon. The proposed vision is developed from the establishment of four long-term objectives, which will be developed through eight retained strategies and four contingency strategies. These strategies will allow E-Transport Arequipa to be the leading company in copper concentrate cargo transportation services at a national level, having as pillars of growth, profitability, service fulfillment and human capital. Finally, with the implementation of this strategic plan and in order to guarantee its success, indicators have been considered in the Balanced Scorecard, which will allow an effective follow-up and control of the progress of each short term objective (STO), which will add up to the long term objectives (LTO) and, therefore, in a 5 year time horizon, achieve the desired vision.
