dc.description.abstractRustom Bharucha é um estudioso do mundo, e sua maneira de estudá-lo é através do teatro. Tem desenvolvido pesquisas sobre performance cultural através das categorias de intercultural e intracultural (Bharucha, 1993, 2000), história oral, representações tradicionais e, mais recentemente, sobre o fenômeno do terror em relação à performance (Bharucha, 2014). Durante os dois primeiros anos da pandemia, produziu uma videoconferência de 9 capítulos intitulada Theatre and the Coronavirus sobre diferentes aspectos da pandemia em relação à prática teatral e performática. Este vídeo foi produzido pelo International Research Center/Interweaving Performance Cultures, Berlim, Alemanha. Mais recentemente, ele publicou um longo ensaio intitulado The Second Wave: Reflections on the Pandemic through Photography, Performance and Public Culture (2022).en_US

Ha desarrollado investigaciones sobre la performance cultural a través de las categorías de lo intercultural y lo intracultural (Bharucha, 1993, 2000), la historia oral, las representaciones tradicionales y, más recientemente, sobre el fenómeno del terror en relación con la performance (Bharucha, 2014). Durante los dos primeros años de la pandemia, elaboró una videoconferencia de 9 capítulos titulada Theatre and the Coronavirus sobre diferentes aspectos de la pandemia en relación con el teatro y la práctica escénica. Este video fue producido por el International Research Center/Interweaving Performance Cultures, Berlín, Alemania. dc.description.abstractRustom Bharucha is a scholar of the world, and his way of studying it is through theater. He has conducted research on cultural performance through the categories of intercultural and intracultural (Bharucha, 1993, 2000), oral history, traditional representations and, more recently, on the phenomenon of terror in relation to performance (Bharucha, 2014). During the first two years of the pandemic, he produced a 9-chapter video conference titled Theatre and the Coronavirus on several aspects of the pandemic in relation to theater and performance practice. This video was produced by the International Research Center/Interweaving Performance Cultures, Berlin, Germany.
