Eating healthy is one of the greatest challenges that society currently faces, since sedentary lifestyle, remote work and the habits of the modern world make it increasingly difficult for people to pay special attention to what they consume, especially the most active population, between 18 and 35 years of age. In the current context, it is difficult to find foods or supplements that meet all the necessary requirements to satisfy not only hunger, but also provide the necessary nutrients to keep the user energized for most of the day, that is healthy, low-calorie, good-tasting, inexpensive and easy to transport. When conducting an in-depth literature review on the subject, it was found that spirulina, which is a kind of algae, meets all the requirements in terms of nutritional contribution, therefore, it offers the possibility of manufacturing a new nutritious food based on this material. Apart from providing the necessary nutrients, it helps the user to fight against diseases such as diabetes, anaemia and being overweight. In the following research work, a study was carried out aimed at knowing the preferences of the target audience, men and women between 18 and 35 years of age who live in Metropolitan Lima through a questionnaire, as a data collection tool. The results indicate that the user wants to obtain a product that allows them to obtain all the nutritional benefits as well as being compact and inexpensive. Based on this, the proposal was made to create Superbar, a nutritious food based on spirulina created to strengthen the nutrition of the selected age group. The market study was carried out, as well as the possible projections throughout five years of production, finding that it is feasible to bring this project to reality.
