The main objective of this investigation is to discover how the use of classic stories promotes the moral development of 1st grade children of a private school in 2 La Molina district. To achieve this objective, it has been hypothesized that classic stories develop morality in children who have been part of this study. It is also proposed that this can be achieved through its contents and teaching intention. It is an investigation- empirical action with a qualitative approach. For its development, a group of first grade primary school children from a private school in La Molina has been chosen. Likewise, two techniques were used: participant observation and documentary analysis. To carry out these techniques, two instruments were applied: a field diary and a matrix of documentary analysis. At the end of this investigation, by means of application files, recording and transcription of audios, and a field diary, it was possible to collect enough information to conclude that a moral development was achieved in the children, throughout the sessions. To measure this progress, dialogue and reflection were used in each session. Likewise, it was observed that moral development at this age is quite complex. It is worth mentioning that the company of an adult to guide this process is essential. On the other hand, it is needed to prevent the processes from taking too long. Because this makes them inefficient. Finally, despite all the achievements, the desired result was not obtained, since the level of argumentation and moral analysis of the students was expected to be higher
