This thesis explores the incorporation of Google Classroom to facilitate the development of competency 28 of the National Curriculum related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) of 6th grade primary school students at a public school. This topic is developed in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, where only virtual classes are taking place. Considering the subject, it is relevant to look at the changes in teaching practice in virtuality, and how ICTs positively influence the development of students' skills. Therefore, this research's methodology is action research (IA), and the objectives are as follows: a) describe the developed level of ICT competence (CN Competence 28) in 6th grade primary school students, b) identify the students 'knowledge and management of the Google Classroom platform and its tools, c) recognizing the Google Classroom's benefits for the development of students' ICT competence. Some conclusions are that 82.7% of students have managed to develop level V, which corresponds to 6th grade. In addition, the students understood the use of Google Classroom through direct experience despite initial ignorance of its tools. Finally, among the main benefits of using Google Classroom, we find an increase in commitment to learning, an improvement in the quality of content and an increase in collaborative and autonomous work.
