Abstract
The photographic project «Ana» is a visual story through documentary images that bring us closer to the life of Ana Estrada, an activist for the rights to assisted death (illegal in Peru) who suffers from polymyositis. For this project, Ana actively participates in the photographic project, in an inquiry that goes through the photographer and photographed roles, as well as the topics of representation of the female body. The photographic proposal is materialized in a B5 format photobook that appeals to the «small» book format. This display allows a more intimate feeling while reading than an exhibition space or wall would do. This way is more according to the intended sense of the project.
