Abstract
The Amancaes flower is a natural species in danger of extinction, representing the Peruvian capital, Lima. However, its recognition is scarce among residents, as it is not frequently disseminated through the media. As a result, people who live day-to-day with the city's culture cannot recognize its figure, putting the conservation of the species at risk. This research exposes the lack of adequate visual representation of the Amancaes flower, warns of the loss of Lima's cultural heritage, and shows the scarce diffusion of flora in Lima through a review of books, magazines, web media, interviews, and surveys of actors related to the problem. The document is complemented by the opinions of a group of people belonging to the target audience and the review of professionals through a peer review. After evaluating the obtained information, the proposed solution is designing an illustrated memory game. The game will transmit information through images on cards and its social media communication campaign. It seeks to allow children and adults to directly access some data related to Amancaes while sharing quality time with their closest social circle.
