Resumen
El presente proyecto de innovación aborda el tema de la conciencia ambiental y
cómo la participación de la familia en actividades pro ambientales beneficia su
fortalecimiento en niños de nivel inicial. El objetivo central es elaborar una propuesta de
innovación para favorecer el desarrollo de la conciencia ambiental a través de la
participación de la familia en actividades pro ambientales en niños de 4 años en un centro
de educación inicial del distrito de Santiago de Surco, para ello se trabajan las diferentes
dimensiones de la conciencia ambiental.
El tema de tesis surge de la necesidad de proponer una serie de actividades que
fueran creativas para generar un cambio real ya que la educación ambiental que se imparte
en los centros educativos no logra conseguir los objetivos que se plantean como, por
ejemplo, valorar nuestro medio ambiente o entender la repercusión de nuestros actos en
nuestra comunidad. Además, las conductas aprendidas no permanecen en el tiempo y las
actitudes no quedan interiorizadas en los niños. Buscamos que los padres de familia se
involucren en las actividades que desarrollan los niños y así haya coherencia entre lo que
se promueve en el aula y lo que se práctica en casa.
Pretendemos que el niño vaya formando una conciencia ambiental desde edades
tempranas ya que, por las características de estas edades como su curiosidad y su interés
por interactuar con su espacio, es más factible que se interioricen estas conductas.
Además, la relación de afecto y admiración que tienen los niños con sus padres hace
posible que los aprendizajes que se adquieran sean más significativos y duraderos.
This innovation Project addresses the issue of environmental awareness and how family participation in pro-environmental activities benefits their empowerment in entrylevel children. The main objective is to prepare an innovation proposal to promote the development of environmental awareness through the participation of the family in proenvironmental activities in 4-year-old children in an initial education center in the Santiago de Surco district, for which purpose the different dimensions of environmental awareness will work. The thesis topic arose from the need to propose a series of activities that were creative to generate real change since the environmental education that is taught in educational centers fails to achieve the objectives that are set, such as, for example, valuing our environment or understand the impact of our actions on our community. Furthermore, the learned behaviors do not remain over time and the attitudes are not internalized in children. We seek that parents are involved in the activities that children develop and thus there is coherence between what is promoted in the classroom and what is practiced at home. We intend for the child to form an environmental awareness from an early age since, due to the characteristics of these ages, such as their curiosity and interest in interacting with their space, it is more likely that these behaviors will be internalized. In addition, the relationship of affection and admiration that children have with their parents makes it possible for the learning acquired to be more significant and lasting.
