Resumen
El plan estratégico para la industria de escuelas de negocios en el Perú tiene
como objetivo primordial establecer la misión, visión, y estrategias para que esta
industria sea reconocida entre las tres mejores de Latinoamérica en la formación de
profesionales líderes con perspectiva global que contribuyan al desarrollo sostenible
del país y la región.
Para lograr esta visión a 2022, las escuelas de negocios en el Perú deberán
organizarse como industria, mediante la creación de una asociación nacional de
escuelas de negocios, la cual debe estar conformada por las principales escuelas del
país y que debe ser la encargada de difundir las buenas prácticas de la misma. Los
objetivos a largo plazo se centran en incrementar las acreditaciones internacionales,
principal factor que determina la calidad educativa de los programas MBA; aumentar
el número de maestrías en administración de negocios dictadas fuera de país;
desarrollar publicaciones científicas con estándares internacionales en la categoría de
negocios; duplicar la cantidad total de alumnos que estudian una maestría en
administración de negocios, y mejorar la calidad del dictado de clases mediante el
incremento de docentes a tiempo completo que tengan el grado de doctor, basado en
los Principios para una Educación Responsable en Administración.
La industria de escuelas de negocios en el Perú se encuentra en etapa
de desarrollo y sus fortalezas están dadas por las escuelas líderes. Se debe aprovechar
el potencial crecimiento del mercado peruano para generar que estas fortalezas
puedan ser adoptadas por las otras escuelas de negocios, garantizando la calidad del
servicio educativo y trabajando en conjunto para alcanzar la misión y visión
compartida que se plantean.
The strategic plan for the industry of business schools in Peru aims primarily to establish the mission, vision and strategies to make the industry of business schools recognized among the top three of Latin America in the education of professional leaders with a global perspective that will contribute to the sustainable development of the country and the region. To achieve this vision in the 2022, Peruvian business schools must organize as an industry, through the creation of a national association of business schools, which should be formed by the main schools of the country and should be responsible for disseminating good practices of the industry. Long-term objectives focus on increasing international accreditations, main factor that determines the educational quality of MBA programs; increase the number of master's degrees in business administration dictated outside country; develop scientific publications with international standards in the business category; double the total number of students studying a master's degree in business management and improve the quality of the teaching classes through the increment of teachers with doctor degree, and based on the principles for responsible management education. The industry of business schools in Peru is on development stage and its strengths are given by leading schools. The potential growth of the Peruvian market must be harnessed to generate these strengths could be adopted by other business schools, guaranteeing the quality of the education service and working together to achieve the mission and shared vision that arises.
