Resumen
El objetivo principal de la Tesis, es desarrollar un Planeamiento Estratégico de la
Palta en el Perú, el cual se ha convertido en un producto estrella de exportación y que aún
tiene capacidad de crecimiento, por el incremento de la demanda mundial, y la ventaja
competitiva de la estratégica ubicación geográfica que se debe explotar, fortalecer el
compromiso del estado con el comercio internacional en base a los tratados de libre
comercio que han permitido posicionarlo entre sus clientes como un producto de calidad, lo
cual representa un reto permanente para lograr mantener su satisfacción pero será lo que
permitirá consolidarlo en los mercados actuales así como usarlo como un elemento
diferencial en los nuevos.
El planeamiento estratégico desarrollado en la Tesis fue elaborado en función al
Modelo Secuencial del Proceso Estratégico, se evaluaron los factores internos y factores
externos que permitieron identificar las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas
que permitieron a su vez, generar un conjunto de estrategias específicas. Se formularon cinco
objetivos de largo plazo orientados a incrementar el valor económico de las exportaciones,
que mejoren las condiciones sociales y económicas de los integrantes de la cadena de valor,
incrementar la producción a través de la ampliación de la frontera agrícola, incrementar el
rendimiento agrícola, lograr que los productores informales se encuentren certificados para
garantizar el cuidado al Medio Ambiente y se desarrolle un entorno sostenible promoviendo
la innovación, tecnología en el cultivo, calidad e inocuidad.
Para cumplir con este plan, es necesario integrar a las instituciones públicas, privadas
y académicas para que la marca país "Palta Peruana" sea identificada y reconocida por su
calidad en mercados internacionales más importantes. La implementación de las estrategias
planteadas está alineada a alcanzar la Visión de la Palta Peruana: En el año 2025 el Perú será
el segundo productor y exportador del mundo

The strategic planning developed in the Thesis was elaborated according to the Sequential Model of the Strategic Process; we evaluated the internal factors and external factors that allowed identifying the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats that allowed generating a set of specific strategies. Five long-term objectives were formulated to increase the economic value of exports, to improve the social and economic conditions of the value chain, to increase production through the expansion of the agricultural frontier, to increase agricultural output, To ensure that informal producers are certified to ensure care for the environment and to develop a sustainable environment by promoting innovation, technology in cultivation, quality and safety. To comply with this plan, it is necessary to integrate public, private and academic institutions so that the country brand "Peruvian Avocado" is identified and recognized for its quality in the most important international markets.
