Los hijos de Huari : etnografía y etnohistoria de tres pueblos de la sierra de Ancash, Perú
Abstract
El libro explora las relaciones entre dos comunidades campesinas y una capital de provincia de la zona de Conchucos, en Áncash. A lo largo del volumen se va mostrando el rigor de su investigación sobre las representaciones y las interpretaciones producidas por los habitantes de la provincia de Huari acerca de sus prácticas sociales, culturales y económicas, tanto en el ámbito temporal como espacial. Así se toman en cuenta los mitos de origen sobre esta cultura, las crónicas, la concepción espacial, las fiestas y ritos, la organización política y social, las actividades productivas y su cotidianidad. Incluso se hace mención de la incursión del peruanista Antonio Raimondi en la zona.
