El estudio de la validez de inferencias cobra especial interés en su aplicación al razonamiento jurídico. Sin duda, el rigor de los principios lógicos, su carácter normativo, nos lleva a evidenciar defectos en el paso de premisas y conclusión que, de no ser advertidos, dan lugar a las llamadas falacias. Por ello ha llegado a considerarse a la lógica como la moral del pensamiento, donde cometer un error sería como pecar. El presente artículo presenta una clasificación de los distintos tipos de error en el razonamiento inferencial y constituye una advertencia del autor para observar las reglas lógicas y mantener la coherencia en el discurso del hombre de leyes.
