Mejorando el desarrollo de competencias matemáticas con el uso de tecnología en los estudiantes de los últimos grados de educación media de una institución educativa pública de Colombia

Resumen
El presente trabajo corresponde a una propuesta de innovación educativa que
atiende el problema del bajo desarrollo de las competencias matemáticas de los
estudiantes de los dos últimos grados de educación media en una institución
educativa del municipio de San José del Fragua en Colombia. En consecuencia,
la presente propuesta busca mejorar ese desarrollo de competencias a través de
las TIC.
Por otra parte, el objetivo que se planteó fue de mejorar el desarrollo de
competencias matemáticas de los estudiantes de los dos últimos grados de
educación media. Asimismo, para alcanzar el objetivo se plantean los siguientes
objetivos específicos: incorporar recursos tecnológicos en la metodología de
enseñanza; desarrollar capacidades en el uso de las TIC a los docentes del área
de matemáticas e involucrar a los padres de familia en el proceso de aprendizaje
de sus hijos. Por otro lado, se aplicaron instrumentos de evaluación, se realizó
un análisis de los antecedentes sobre el uso de tecnologías y recursos TIC en
las matemáticas. Igualmente, se debe tener referencia sobre el constructivismo
y la matemática, estándares, competencias matemáticas y TIC y OVA. Finalmente, esta propuesta consta de seis etapas con una experiencia piloto la
cual permitió demostrar los beneficios del uso de recursos tecnológicos,
generando algunas conclusiones que se deben tener en cuenta en la propuesta
de innovación educativa como destacar la relevancia de hacer uso de recursos
educativos como apoyo en la implementación de estrategias metodológicas que
sirvan en la facilidad y practicidad de apropiación de conocimiento en el
estudiante.
The present work corresponds to an educational innovation proposal that responds to the problem of the low development of mathematical competences of students in the last two grades of secondary education in an educational institution in the municipality of San José del Fragua in Colombia. Consequently, this proposal seeks to improve the development of those competences through ICT. On the other hand, the objective that was set was to improve the development of mathematical competences of students in the last two grades of secondary education. Likewise, in order to achieve the objective, the following specific objectives are proposed: incorporate technological resources into the teaching methodology; develop skills in the use of ICT for teachers in the area of mathematics and involve parents in the learning process of their children. On the other hand, evaluation instruments were applied, an analysis of the background on the use of ICT technologies and resources in mathematics was carried out. Likewise, reference should be made to constructivism and mathematics, standards, mathematical skills and ICT and VLO. Finally, this proposal consists of six stages with a pilot experience which allowed to demonstrate the benefits of the use of technological resources, generating some conclusions that must be taken into account in the educational innovation proposal, such as highlighting the relevance of making use of educational resources as support in the implementation of methodological strategies that serve in the ease and practicality of knowledge appropriation in the student.
