Abstract
El presente estudio de investigación es la primera aproximación que se realizó
en el sector de talleres de mantenimiento de autos en la ciudad de Lima, para evaluar
los nueve factores de la Gestión de la calidad en base a la metodología propuesta por
Benzaquen (2014) y determinar la existencia de diferencias entre las empresas que
tienen implementado un sistema de gestión de calidad con aquellas que no lo cuentan.
La investigación es de tipo cuantitativo y transeccional, donde se utilizó como
herramienta de medición la encuesta de calidad, la cual asocia los factores de TQM
entre las empresas que cuentan o no con un sistema de gestión de calidad. Los
resultados obtenidos dieron validez y confiabilidad a las respuestas sobre los nueve
factores de calidad superando el valor mínimo de la prueba de alfa de Cronbach.
Posteriormente con el uso de pruebas no paramétricas en relación a los 9 factores de
calidad, se puede concluir que existen evidencias suficientes para afirmar que el
grupo que cuenta con un sistema de gestión de calidad presenta mayores niveles de
calidad sobre los que no lo poseen.
This research is the first approximation, in the field of car tune up garages in the city of Lima, to evaluate the nine factors of quality management based on the methodology proposed by Benzaquen (2014), and to determine the existence of differences between the companies that have implemented a quality management system and those who do not have one. The research is the quantitative and cross-sectional kind. It uses a modified quality survey used by Benzaquen (2013) as a measuring tool which matches the TQM factors among the companies that have or do not have a quality management system. In the results, the responses were given validity and reliability on the nine quality factors, exceeding the minimum score of the Cronbach's alpha test. Later, by using non-parametric tests, we can conclude that there is evidence that the garages that have a quality management system have advantage over the ones that do not have one.
