Factores de intención de rotación laboral en colaboradores de una empresa peruana del rubro hotelero

Dentro del rubro hotelero, uno de los giros más rentables del Perú, se reconoce una importante problemática: la rotación laboral voluntaria, la cual es precedida por una intención o idea que tiene un colaborador de renunciar voluntariamente a una organización (All, 2012; Tett & Meyer, 1993). El interés en el estudio de la intención de rotación ha dado a conocer una diversidad de modelos carentes de consenso, lo que suscita la necesidad de realizar un estudio cualitativo que permita explorar dicha variable en esta industria y en nuestro país. Por este motivo, el presente estudio busca identificar la estructura factorial de la intención de rotación en una empresa del rubro hotelero.
La muestra estuvo compuesta por 61 participantes para la fase cualitativa y 121 participantes para la fase cuantitativa. El análisis factorial exploratorio encontró cuatro factores: ‘Falta de apoyo organizacional (jefe, compañeros, reconocimientos e insumos)’, ‘Condiciones laborales que afectan mi calidad de vida laboral y búsqueda de crecimiento profesional’, Jefe injusto y organización demandante (tiempo, rigidez y carga laboral)’ y ‘Mejor remuneración y crecimiento personal’. Los factores identificados son interpretados en base a una recopilación de diferentes investigaciones previas.
Inside the hotel area, one of the most profitable spins of the Peru, knows an important problem: voluntary turnover, which is preceded by an intention or idea that has an employee of let an organization (All, 2012; Tett & Meyer, 1993). The interest in the study of the turnover intention has unveiled a variety of models lacking consensus, which increases the need for a qualitative study that allows you to explore this variable in this industry and our country. For this reason, this study seeks to identify the structure factor of the turnover intention in a hotel company. The sample was composed of 61 participants for the qualitative phase and 121 participants for the quantitative phase. The exploratory factor analysis found four factors: 'Lack of organizational support (boss, colleagues, awards and supplies)', 'Working conditions that affect my quality of working life and search for professional growth', ‘Unfair boss and demanding organization (time, rigidity and workload) ‘Better paid and personal growth. The factors identified are interpreted on the basis of a collection of various previous investigations.
