Resumen
El objetivo del presente estudio consistió en evaluar los efectos del Programa DMA-5 sobre los niveles de memoria auditiva inmediata en sus tres componentes: memoria asociativa, memoria lógica y memoria numérica en los estudiantes de quinto grado de primaria de una institución educativa particular del distrito de La Victoria. Para ello se compararon los niveles de memoria auditiva inmediata antes y después de la aplicación del programa, con la finalidad de probar la hipótesis planteada que indica que el presente programa mejora significativamente los niveles de memoria auditiva inmediata en los alumnos con los que se trabaja.
La muestra estuvo conformada por 22 alumnos de ambos sexos que cursaban el quinto grado de primaria. La metodología empleada fue de tipo aplicativo y de diseño pre experimental puesto que serviría para producir cambios en la realidad y se aplicó la prueba en un grupo para luego llevar cabo el programa y realizar una medición posterior, empleando para el recojo de información el Test de Memoria Auditiva Inmediata (MAI).
En los resultados se apreciaron mejoras en los alumnos evidenciadas en el post test con su respectivo análisis; es así que el programa DMA-5 tuvo un impacto significativo en la memoria auditiva inmediata y en el componente numérico de la memoria auditiva inmediata de los alumnos de quinto grado de primaria de una institución educativa particular de La Victoria.
The main purpose of the present study consists of evaluating the effects of the Program DMA-5 on the levels of immediate auditory memory in his three components: associative memory, logical memory and numerical memory in the students of fifth grade of primary of an private institution of the district of La Victoria for which there are compared the levels of immediate auditory memory before and after the application of the program with the purpose of proving the hypothesis consisting on that the present program improves significantly the levels of immediate auditory memory in students with whom we worked. The sample was comprised by 22 students of both genres who are in fifth grade of primary. The methodology used was applicative type and design pre experimental since serve to produce changes in reality and the test was applied in a group and then carrying out the program and perform a subsequent measurement, using the Test of Immediate Auditory Memory (MAI) to collect information. In the results, improvements were observed in the students evidenced in the post test with their respective analysis. From then we can say the DMA-5 program had a significant impact in the auditory inmediate memory and on the numerical component of the immediate auditory memory of fifth grade students of a private educational institution in La Victoria.
