This research work seeks to reflect on the new musical and performative realities that are presented in the current field of professional performance of the student of the specialty of Musical Composition of the School of Music of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). The problem arises from the analysis of the goals proposed in the curriculum, the criteria of the evaluation system, and the possibilities and limitations presented in the context of the specialty in question. Likewise, the discussion focuses mainly on two themes: first, on the relationship between the criteria and the evaluation strategies with the musical and performative reality of the specialty; and second, in the analysis of the new forms of performance and performative feedback that respond to the system of evaluation of the specialty and the academic goals of the faculty. For this, a dialogue is established with different investigations whose authors analyze the criteria of the artistic musical evaluation system at universities and the new constructions of performance in music. Finally, the conclusions and a series of suggestions are presented to optimize the strategies in the artistic evaluation, and to reach the academic goals of the faculty.
