El privilegio de sobrevivir. La influencia de los capitales individuales de las dirigentas sobre los resultados de la olla común de “Valle Verde” durante la pandemia por la COVID-19

Resumen
La presente investigación analiza el caso de la olla común de la Asociación Vecinal de “Valle Verde”, una organización que consolida resultados significativos al preocuparse más allá de su rol práctico: las necesidades alimenticias de su comunidad durante la pandemia de la COVID-19. Partiendo de entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a sus miembras, planteamos un análisis que toma en cuenta las teorías que abordan la operación de organizaciones sociales y la teoría de capitales. Asimismo, identificamos importantes contrastes entre los capitales individuales de las integrantes de la olla común, que corresponden a trayectorias de vida diferenciadas. Del mismo modo, resaltamos cómo los capitales son transferidos del plano individual al comunitario, con el fin de comprender su contribución al beneficio colectivo de la asociación vecinal, así como a las particularidades y contradicciones que se presentan en el proceso.
This investigation analyzes the case of the community pots of the “Valle Verde” neighbourhood association, a social organization that has consolidated significant results, which exceed tending to their community’s nutritional necessities, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on semi-structured interviews with the community’s members, we present an analysis that takes into account theories surrounding the operation of social organizations as well as capital theory. We identify important contrasts between the individual capitals of the members of the community pot, which correspond to their differentiated life trajectories. In addition, we observe the processes by which capitals are transferred from the individual level to the collective level, in order to comprehend how these interactions contribute to the collective benefit to the neighbourhood association, and which particularities and contradictions appear along the way.
