Abstract
El presente trabajo es una investigación de enfoques cualitativo y cuantitativo. El objetivo principal es evaluar la comprensión auditiva en pacientes afásicos fluentes. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó el Test de Boston, específicamente las sub- área de discriminación de palabras, identificación de partes del cuerpo, órdenes y material ideativo complejo.
Se vaciaron e interpretaron los datos del test, asimismo se analizaron las grabaciones realizadas con cada paciente durante la evaluación.
Se concluye que todos los pacientes a pesar de tener una comunicación fluida, su nivel de compresión durante sus diálogos son limitados, por lo tanto perjudica su interacción social. De otro lado, se encontró que los pacientes que tienen más de una lengua mantienen características comprensivas comunes con aquellos pacientes que solo dominan una lengua. Además sus entornos familiares influyen en la recuperación de estos paciente
The present work is an investigation of qualitative and quantitative approaches. The main objective is to assess the listening comprehension in fluent aphasic patients. For data collection the Test of Boston, specifically the sub - area word discrimination, identification of body parts, orders and complex ideational material was applied. Emptied and interpreted test data also recordings made with each patient during the assessment were analyzed. We conclude that all patients despite having good communication, level of compression during their dialogues are limited, therefore impairs social interaction. On the other hand it was found that patients who have more than one language maintain comprehensive features common to patients who only master a language. Besides his family environments influence the recovery of these patients. s.
